How can an educational intervention promote healthy eating habits during pregnancy?

The present study evaluated an intervention involving the use of regional foods during pregnancy based on a clinical trial. The intervention group (educational booklet) presented a statistically significant association in comparison with the control group (pregnant women who received nutritional orientation during low-risk prenatal care) and increased knowledge, attitudes and practices regarding regional foods.
